Preperations for the semester abroad

Here we go with the preparation.

After you have received our confirmation mail, take the following steps:
Keep in mind:

  • Visa
  • Passport
  • Health insurance
  • Vaccinations
  • Flights
  • Accommodation
  • Driving licence

Visa

Entry to Indonesia will require a current visa and you will specifically need a student visa for your time at Udayana University. A full checklist will be sent to you along with you confirmation email.

Insurances

We highly recommend that you take out overseas health insurance (comprehensive travel insurance is suggested to cover all aspects of your trip).

Flights

Booking your flight as early as possible will help to ensure you get the best deals. Student’s rates and special offers are often available via internet sites although these are not always the cheapest option. Do compare a number of offers from different sources.
As part of your visa application you will be required to produce a copy of your return airline ticket.

Money

To withdraw money from your bank account in Bali you will need a credit card. Some banks offer free cash withdrawals abroad. Ask your bank for any such offers.
